Enter Altitude ft
Air Density slugs/ft^3

Calculate Value

lbs
mph
ft^2

Using the known lift formula if you know any three variables you can always calculate the fourth one. Altitude is assumed to be constant, so that the density is also constant, enter it first. Then press the calculation button for the variable you want to solve. (Version 02.03.2009, default values are for Piper Cherokee at landing configuration flying the minimium speed, wing loading 1 g.)
